it is good that WATE and Knoxvue is reading Stacy Campfield's blog. He posted this at 10:24 p.m. last night. Bottom line is pray for Knoxville's only true Councilman. The only one that represents the real people of Knoxville.

I like Steve Hall. He's an honest guy who represents a lot of people who would otherwise feel voiceless. But he's certainly not the only member of council of whom that can be said, and I doubt that he would claim the "one true councilman" title for himself.

I've served with Steve on Council for over six years. Betty's right. He's an honest guy and a good representative. He and I don't agree 100% of the time, but we get along well and actually do agree on a whole lot of issues. Our first two years on Council, prior to the current administration, were challenging times. Steve was definitely a point of light, and light always dispels darkness. I supported him in his reelection bid a couple of years ago because I believed he was the best choice as an independent voice who brought needed balance to our deliberations. Absolutely no regrets.
