That sorta is the idea - working with TDOT to put free, lit parking for the Old City under the completed widened road. The Old City merchants thought it made some sense. Oh well, consider it minimalist art.

Lit would be an improvement. Maybe a few cameras. I see lots of freshly broken glass on the street and sidewalk riding through there.

maybe the city could invite christo to wrap it in blossoms for next year's dogwood festival.

the parking lot, unfortunately, is NOT well lit at night, and today it was strewn with bottles and beer cans.
