Is it time to look at Independent write-in candidates for County Commission?

Submitted by Number9 on Wed, 2006/06/14 - 5:13pm.

Will there be Independent write-in candidates that will file before June 23rd to offer voters the chance to make a protest vote against the nine term limited incumbents? If people come forward as Independent write-in candidates to offer you this choice will you vote for them?

On another front, are these the people you feel are best qualified to re-write our Knox County Charter?

Foxes meet Henhouse. Hey

Foxes meet Henhouse.

Hey #9, here is a cause you can get behind and win. Even I'd pull for you. Go for it.

Have the appeals started on Weaver's ruling? Can there be appeals?

Is this fix it committee or list of Ragsdale host committee?

What a crock.  Nothing but Ragsdale lappers and wanna bees.

Nothing but a bunch of public employees and political grandstanders.

With a fix it crew like that, I hope Judge Weaver tosses them all out on their ear so there is nothing to fix.

The fix would be worse than starting all over.  What a disgrace.

I don't know everyone on this list but I know enough to be very disheartened by the choices.  Every name I recognize is dead set against term limits or they have reason to support those who are term-limited.

Guess we are going to end up with the same charter less term limits and a few special changes that "upsize" the power pie?
